How to use QR Code Generator

  1. Choose what the code should contain: a link, text, WiFi, contact card, email, phone number or SMS.
  2. Fill in the fields and, if you like, change the colors or add a logo.
  3. Scan the code with your phone to test it, then download it as PNG or SVG.

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire?

No. They are static codes: the link or text is stored directly in the code, not behind a redirect on our server. They keep working as long as the content (for example your website) exists.

What does error correction (L, M, Q, H) mean?

It is how much of the code can be damaged or covered and still scan: L about 7%, M 15%, Q 25% and H 30%. Higher levels make the code denser. When you add a logo, H is used automatically.

PNG or SVG?

PNG works everywhere and is ideal for screens and documents. SVG is a vector file that stays sharp at any size, the best choice for print shops and large posters.

How do I make sure the code scans?

Always test it with a phone before printing. Keep strong contrast (dark code on a light background), leave the white border around it and do not print it too small; about 2 × 2 cm is a sensible minimum.

Do you track scans?

No. Scans go straight to your content without passing through us, and nothing you enter leaves your browser. For product barcodes use the Barcode Generator.
