Frequently asked questions

Is sorting language-aware?

Yes. Lines are sorted with your language’s alphabet, so letters like ç, ö and ü land in the right place, and numbers are sorted naturally (2 before 10).

Are duplicates case-sensitive?

No. “Apple” and “apple” are treated as the same line, and only the first one is kept.

Can I just remove duplicates and keep the original order?

Yes. Set sorting to “Keep order” and turn on “Remove duplicates”.

How does shuffle work?

Shuffle puts the lines in a random order, handy for draws, quiz questions or splitting people into groups. Each change creates a new order.
