How to use Wordle Solver

  1. Pick the word length (most games use 5 letters).
  2. Type your guess, then tap each letter to set its colour: grey (not in the word), yellow (wrong spot), green (right spot).
  3. Press “Add guess” for the next row. The list updates with every change.

Frequently asked questions

What do the colours mean?

Grey: the letter isn’t in the word. Yellow: it’s in the word but not in that spot. Green: right letter, right spot. Each tap cycles grey → yellow → green.

How are double letters handled?

Just like in the game. If a letter is green in one spot and grey in another, the answer contains exactly one of it.

Why are some words highlighted?

They contain the letters you don’t know yet that appear most often among the remaining answers, so guessing one narrows things down the most.

Which word list is used?

The same ENABLE list as the word finder, which is larger than Wordle’s own answer list, so a few unusual words may appear. For crosswords, try the pattern search in Word Finder.
