Random Number Wheel (1–100)

Every number from 1 to 100 is already on the wheel. To change the range, enter the lowest and highest number (say 1–30 for a class list or 1–200 for raffle tickets), spin, and get your random number.

Shortcut: Space or Ctrl+Enter spins.

The winner is picked by your browser's secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues); the spin is just an animation. Names never leave your device, and we can't see or influence the result.

    Entries

Press Enter for a new line. Paste several lines and each becomes its own entry (up to 200). To weight an entry, add *number after it: "Alice*3" makes Alice's slice, and chance, three times bigger.

How to use Random Number Wheel (1–100)

      1. If needed, change "From" and "To" and press "Put numbers on wheel" (up to 200 numbers).
      2. Press "Spin" in the middle of the wheel, or hit the Space bar.
      3. To avoid repeats, turn on "Remove the winner from the wheel each time"; drawn numbers are listed in order in the history.

      Frequently asked questions

Can I change the number range?

Yes. Enter the lowest and highest number and press "Put numbers on wheel": 1–6 for a die, 1–49 for a lottery, 10–60 or whatever you need. The wheel holds up to 200 slices.

Does it work for bingo or raffle tickets?

Yes. With "Remove the winner from the wheel each time" switched on, each drawn number drops off the wheel so it can't come up twice. The history keeps the order and time of every draw, and you can download it as a CSV.

Can I leave some numbers out?

Yes. Delete any number with the × next to it, or edit it. Once the range is applied, the list is entirely yours to change.

Is it rigged? Is the result really random?

No, it isn't rigged. Before the wheel starts turning, the winner is chosen with your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues); the wheel then simply animates towards that result. Without weights every entry has exactly the same chance, and neither we nor anyone else can decide the outcome in advance. It all runs in your browser and nothing is sent to a server. One honest caveat: whoever runs the page can edit the list or keep spinning until they like the result, so for public giveaways the most trustworthy approach is to share the list beforehand and livestream or screen-record the spin.
