Dare Wheel

Whoever loses the round, picks "dare" in truth or dare, or just gets caught laughing spins for a forfeit. Funny, harmless dares are ready to go; add your own, delete the ones that don't fit and spin. Full-screen mode works great at parties and on a classroom board.

Shortcut: Space or Ctrl+Enter spins.

The winner is picked by your browser's secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues); the spin is just an animation. Names never leave your device, and we can't see or influence the result.

    ⚽ Ready-made team lists

Put a list on the wheel with "Load", or combine several leagues with "+ Add". Remove any team you don't want with ×.

Team names and colours are for information only; no official logos are used.

Press Enter for a new line. Paste several lines and each becomes its own entry (up to 200). To weight an entry, add *number after it: "Alice*3" makes Alice's slice, and chance, three times bigger.

      Frequently asked questions

      Can I change the dares?

Yes. Each line is one dare; edit, delete or add new ones. The list is saved in your browser, so the same dares are waiting next time.

Is it suitable for kids or a classroom?

Yes. The ready-made dares are harmless and fun, and full-screen mode works well on a smart board. With kids, make the easy options more likely: "Free pass*2" doubles the chance of that slice.

Can I share my list with friends?

Yes. Use the share link to send your dare list; anyone who opens it can spin the same dares on their own phone.

Is it rigged? Is the result really random?

No, it isn't rigged. Before the wheel starts turning, the winner is chosen with your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues); the wheel then simply animates towards that result. Without weights every entry has exactly the same chance, and neither we nor anyone else can decide the outcome in advance. It all runs in your browser and nothing is sent to a server. One honest caveat: whoever runs the page can edit the list or keep spinning until they like the result, so for public giveaways the most trustworthy approach is to share the list beforehand and livestream or screen-record the spin.
