Giveaway Wheel

Paste the entrants' names or usernames, one per line, and spin. The winner is picked with your browser's secure random number generator. For several winners or runners-up, turn on "Remove the winner from the wheel each time" and spin again, then download the result history with times.

Shortcut: Space or Ctrl+Enter spins.

The winner is picked by your browser's secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues); the spin is just an animation. Names never leave your device, and we can't see or influence the result.

    ⚽ Ready-made team lists

Put a list on the wheel with "Load", or combine several leagues with "+ Add". Remove any team you don't want with ×.

Team names and colours are for information only; no official logos are used.

Press Enter for a new line. Paste several lines and each becomes its own entry (up to 200). To weight an entry, add *number after it: "Alice*3" makes Alice's slice, and chance, three times bigger.

      How to use Giveaway Wheel

      1. Copy the entrants' names and paste them into the list; each line is one person (up to 200).
      2. If you need more than one winner, turn on "Remove the winner from the wheel each time".
      3. Press "Spin"; spin again for more winners or runners-up and download the result history as TXT or CSV.

      Frequently asked questions

Is the draw fair, or is the result decided in advance?

It is fair. The winner is picked just before the wheel starts turning, using the secure random number generator your browser uses for encryption; without weights everyone has the same chance. For extra trust, share the list of entrants beforehand and stream or screen-record the spin.

What if someone is on the list twice?

Each line is a separate slice, so a name entered twice has double the chance. If your rules allow one entry per person, remove duplicates before you spin.

Can I keep a record of the winners?

Yes. Every result is listed in the result history with its order and time; copy it or download it as TXT or CSV to keep as a record of the draw.

Is it rigged? Is the result really random?

No, it isn't rigged. Before the wheel starts turning, the winner is chosen with your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues); the wheel then simply animates towards that result. Without weights every entry has exactly the same chance, and neither we nor anyone else can decide the outcome in advance. It all runs in your browser and nothing is sent to a server. One honest caveat: whoever runs the page can edit the list or keep spinning until they like the result, so for public giveaways the most trustworthy approach is to share the list beforehand and livestream or screen-record the spin.
